Rent Increase Toolbox

Use the following tools to estimate your rent increase. Please note that the 2025 Rent Increase Toolbox applies to any lease renewal beginning between April 2, 2025 and April 1, 2026. 

Using publicly available school and municipal tax information, you can estimate your rent increase for 2025-26! Please note that this is only an estimate and not a calculation – without full access to your building’s expenses and revenue, you cannot know with certainty how much the legal rent increase should be. You can ask your landlord for this information, but they are not required to provide it to you.
