The CALODI would like to thank the borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro for funding our projet “The Housing Crisis and Xenophobia: Mobilising for Solidarity,” as part of the “Agir Ensemble” program funded by the City and the Ministry of Employment and Social Solidarity.
As part of this project, we will be developing and facilitating a workshop to help tenants understand the root causes of the housing crisis and to bust xenophobic myths about immigration and housing. We will also be working on building-level mobilisation to increase awareness of rights and tenants’ sense of belonging, community, and solidarity across all backgrounds.
